This is to inform all the students of the Federal University Of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA) that the senate of the institution has released the proposed academic calendar for the 2025/2026 academic session.

First Semester: Monday 6th September 2025 – Saturday 29th January 2025 (18weeks)

1. Monday 2nd August, 2025-Tuesday 31st August 2025
   Online registration for new and returning students (4weeks)
2. Monday 6th September 2025
   Lecture begins for 100 – 400level students
3. Monday 27th September 2025
   Lecture begins for 500level students
4. Thursday 14th October 2025
   Matriculation of New students
5. Monday 25th October, 2025-Saturday 13th November 2025
   E-test for 100 level and large classes(3weeks)
6. Monday 18th December 2025-Monday 3rd January, 2025
   Annual recess
7. Monday 10th January, 2025-Saturday 29th January, 2025
   E-exam for 100level and large classes(3weeks)
8. Monday 17th January, 2025-Saturday 29th January, 2025
   First-semester exam for 200 – 500 level students (2weeks)

NOTE:

• Every Saturday as been declared for staff fitness exercise from 6:30 am – 8.00 am (All staff are advised to turn up for this exercise)
• Every Wednesday of the week, lectures end by 2.00 pm for sporting activities for all students.
