NDA Exam Date 2025 & General Requirements (74th Regular Course): Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) 74th Regular Course (RC) Entrance Examination / Screening Test Dates, Centers and Requirements 2025/2026, See NDA Subjects Combination for all 74th Regular Course Applicants for the 2025/2026 Session.

The Nigerian Defence Academy Screening Test (NDAST) for the 74th Regular Course for interested candidates has been announced and will hold at various designated centres across the country.

NDA Exam Date 2025 & General Requirements (74th Regular Course).

The NDA Entrance Examination has been scheduled to take place on Saturday 23 April 2025 at designated centres across the country.

Only candidates with JAMB 2025 Registration Number will be eligible to write the exams.

The names of candidates who scored the required NDA Cut off Marks of 180 for all courses less Engineering which is 210 will be uploaded to the portal as soon as NDA obtained same from JAMB.

Please note: Screening Cards and Center Selection will be available as soon as the results are uploaded.

All eligible applicants are advised to visit application portal on the NDA website www.ndaapplications.net to select the examination centre of their choice and print out their examination card.

Also note that, only those with duly printed Examination Card will be admitted into the various centres for the test.”

Candidates are to arrive at the examination venues by 7:30am as screening would take place between 7:45am and 8:45am while the examination starts by 9:00am; any candidate who is not at the examination centre by 9:00a.m will not be allowed to write the examination.

Candidates are to come along to the examination centres with the following documents:

  • Acknowledgement Form (downloaded from the internet)
  • JAMB 2025 Registration Slip
  • Examination Admission Card (downloaded from the internet after the release of JAMB result) Writing Materials which
  • include original HB pencil for shading.
  • Two Postcard size (3.5 x 5 inches) Photographs with their Name, State of Origin, Course Choice, Exam Centre and Examination Number written at the back.

NOTE: Candidates should not come with mobile phones and anyone caught with phones would be disqualified.

Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) General Requirements.

NDA 74 REGULAR COURSE ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS INTO ACADEMIC DEPARTMENTS OF THE NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY KADUNA 2025/2026 SESSION

  1. Candidates eligible for 74 Regular Course admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) must have the following:
    • Must be medically and physically fit and must be of good moral character.
    • Must be single male or female without legal obligation to support any child or other individuals.
    • Present a Certificate of indigeneship from the state government or local government area.
    • Be at least 17 years old and NOT more than 21 years old as at August 2025 (the year of entry into the Academy).
    • Must have a minimum of 5 ordinary level credits at GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NBAIS and NABTEB) English language, Mathematics and three other subjects which are relevant to the intended programme at not more than two sittings.
    • Must have passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation examinations (UTME) and attain an acceptable minimum national standard (as determined by JAMB annual policy meeting).
    • Must NOT be less than 1.68 meters tall for male and 1.65 meters for female.
    • French and Arabic, Madarin language is an added advantage.
  2. Candidates are to note the following:
    • Application forms submitted without ordinary level results will NOT be accepted.
    • Candidates awaiting results are not qualified.
    • Only ordinary level examination results of NOT more than 5 years old from the date of examination will be accepted.
    • Admission into the Academy is for both male and female Nigerians only, and is limited to Navy and Airforce in the case of female candidates.
  3. Cadets upon admission into the Nigerian Defence Academy are full time students and not employees in training. They shall not claim any form of right or engagement whatsoever as an employee of the institution or Federal Government of Nigeria upon dismissal or withdrawal from the Academy before commission as an officer.

Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Subjects Combination for Entrance Exam.

Candidates for FASS.

Candidates for FASS are to answer all questions in any THREE of the following subjects that are applicable to the candidate’s chosen course:

  1. Mathematics – (Compulsory for Psychology candidates).
  2. Economics.
  3. Geography.
  4. History.
  5. Government.
  6. French.
  7. Biology – (Compulsory for Psychology candidates).

Candidates for Sciences.

Candidates for courses in Faculty of Science are to answer questions as follows:

  • Mathematics (Mathematics and any 2 of Physics, Chemistry and Economics).
  • Physics (Physics and any 2 of Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology).
  • Chemistry (Chemistry and any 2 of Physics, Biology and Mathematics).
  • Biology (Biology and any 2 of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics).

Candidates for Engineering.

Candidates for the Faculty of Engineering are to answer ALL questions in the 3 subjects listed below:

  • Mathematics.
  • Physics.
  • Chemistry.

Candidates for Military Science and Interdisciplinary Studies.

Candidates for Intelligence & Cyber Security Studies are to answer the following:

  • Mathematics
  • Physics and
  • Anyone of Biology, Chemistry or Economics.
